Terms of Use

Effective October 1, 2026

Readbird is provided by Redshift Software, LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Readbird you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"), which is our end user license agreement. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

Readbird Pro subscriptions

Your content

You're responsible for the content you add to Readbird and for having the right to use it. Readbird is intended for listening to material for your own personal use. Don't use Readbird to infringe others' rights.

Voices and audio

Speech is generated by AI models and may contain mispronunciations or errors. Don't rely on Readbird where accuracy is critical. You may not use Readbird's voices to impersonate real people, to deceive others, or to create content that is unlawful.

Third-party content and services

Web pages you add are loaded from third-party sites we don't control. Voice models are downloaded from Hugging Face. Readbird includes open-source software and models listed in the app under Settings › Acknowledgements, each under its own license.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Readbird is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redshift Software, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Readbird, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Readbird in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continuing to use Readbird after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
